A few weeks ago, we told you that jailbreaking the latest iPhone, iPad and iPod touch was a no-brainer.
Now, Apple has confirmed that you can do so with just a few taps on your iPhone or iPad.
While jailbreaking has been a popular way to download software for years, the method is getting more and more popular as developers and jailbreakers begin to leverage the technology for more advanced features like remote control or other features that aren’t available from the official iOS version.
In addition to the new iPhone/iPod touch jailbreak, Apple says it will be adding an update to the Mac OS X 10.10 Sierra update for iOS 7 that will make it easier to install jailbreak-enabled apps.
As a result, it’s unlikely you’ll have to jailbreak your Mac for the jailbreak to work.
Apple also says it’ll be adding support for customizing the Apple Watch, which was one of the more popular features for jailbreak users last year.
